Our 4 season family cottage is on a 1 acre lot, set on a knoll surrounded by meadows with an outstanding view of the Sutton Mountains.
It’s an ideal base to explore the area or to relax and observe the wildlife (hummingbirds, chipmunks and wild turkeys, deer and on occasion moose or bear).
The cottage was built in 1990, the carpeting has been replaced by hardwood floors from our woodlot.
The surrounding area is ideal for (cross country) skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing and kayaking. We are less than a 30 minute drive away from Mount Sutton, Owl’s Head and Jay Peak.
Our driveway has space for at least 3 vehicles.
Guests have the house to themselves. The driveway, backyard and basement are shared.
We have a lot of animals around the house – and sometimes some of them find their way inside!
When we have guests, my 6 year old son and I stay in a tiny house right next to the cottage.
